The stud farm SHAMS EL ARAB and the western stables of Stefanie Zotti arre located in Wies, 10 minutes cardrive away from the town Salzburg.
The facility has a 20 x 40 m indoor arena, a 30 x 60 m outdoor arena, approx. 20 stables and several big pastures.
Stefanie Zotti has switched her breeding programm to breeding Arabians with best abilities for performance, especially for western riding. Athleticism, a great and willing mind, correct conformation - all that combined with a good breed type is the breeding goal of Shams El Arab. Therefore she has bought the black stallion MAHDAN from Gut Fronleitenhof, a stallion that has already proofen his skills under his former trainer Mario Bauer. Mahdan is used both for showing and breeding, and his first foals that are now on the ground are already promising to have inhereted their sires athletic abilities and also his black color.
Also the broodmares have to be ridden bevore they start to produce the next genertion. All mares are trained, even the older ones are at least used for leasure time riding. It`s also a further goal for the future to optimize the broodmare band and to have really good quality proven performers, cause this is very important when wanting the offspring to be top and winning under saddle.
